I don't know that I can really follow up from last week's post. That post didn't end up where I had originally planned in my head! But maybe that's what the practice of blogging is about??
So I think where I was going...is that I went to a day-long conference for women with Dr. Kim. Other than it making me think hard about my personal life...it obviously made me take a hard look at my career path. One of her opening remarks was, "How many of you believe that you were put on this earth for a specific purpose?" And there was probably half of the women in that room that seriously raised their hands. I can't say that I'm that person who truly feels a calling to do something particular and that I have an ultimate goal to reach that within a certain time frame. Nope. Not me.
But - I'm currently in school and working towards getting my CPA license. That's been a goal of mine since I was in college and hopefully within the next 12-18 months it will be accomplished!
In the meantime - I'll always be looking for motivation. :)
