So Gavin had his 15 month checkup this morning. Everything was pretty good and he got his booster shots. But I'm actually writing this post for some advice. He weighed in at 22.2 lbs - 20th percentile. The pediatrician seemed fairly concerned and we've come to realize that he isn't getting enough to eat while he's at the daycare. We think he needs about 6 small meals a day. So I am preparing to send additional snacks/meals everyday. Here's what I need:
1. Needs to be something that doesn't have to be refrigerated all day
2. Easy to fix - something that can be made at the beginning of the week and sent every day
3. Preferably something that can be cut up before-hand so that he can feed himself (instead of the teachers having to hand feed since he does not use a spoon yet)
4. Not super messy
I would really appreciate any advice and as much feedback as possible. Thanks!!!

we were just at a big soccer tournament and one of the sponsors gave out samples of this new applesauce in pouches. You twist the cap and eat. May not work for every day, but actually does not have to be in fridge fun to eat, etc. Does he like strawberries or grapes or blueberries? They would keep fairly well. Those could be in a snack sized tupperware. Cheese cubes? You may need to buy a little lunch bag and they actually have ice cubes that are refreezable to throw in daily. It is hard to not have snacks the require cold unless you go all 'baggy' type snacks that may be too many empty carbs?? He's a cutie pie!!!
