So I am now five weeks pregnant and all of the sudden I find myself in a new world. That Thursday, Kimberly was scheduled to be induced to have her second little girl, Neely Kight. My excitement grew even more knowing that I was about to hold a new born with the knowledge that I would have my own in less than eight months. Cody and I, once again, had decided to wait a while before we told anyone. I had already made an appointment with my gyno again to get the nod that it is 100% true. I went to that checkup at 6 weeks and saw a "flicker" on the sonogram machine. My doctor looked at me and said, "You are"!
I also wanted to be able to tell both of our families pretty much at the same time...so the timing worked out that Labor Day weekend was the easiest for us. So we had to keep this secret for three weeks!!! Along with some of the signs of pregnancy...it was a little rough to keep this a secret at work because I was snacking on goldfish crackers all the time!!!
