14 week checkup

So I had my 14-week checkup on October 20th. It was just a normal checkup...I was able to hear the heartbeat again...but only for a second. She was fast this time! Cody was able to come with me and it was his first experience hearing it in person. My doctor made sure that I had received my flu shot (which I had), but he also started me on the prescription Tamiflu since I had been associated with my sister who had it that weekend. Well...that crap made me feel horrible. I didn't realize it at the time other than waking up in the middle of the night to throw up the first night I took the pill. But after the 10th day and finally finishing the prescription...I realized how much better I felt now that I wasn't taking it!! But owell...better safe than sorry. My doctor was just concerned because so many pregnant women that get the flu are also getting pneumonia faster than the medicine can kill the flu. So...in the end I never got the flu, but still felt bad for over a week! But like I said, once I finished the prescription I have been feeling much better!
