I just realized it has been a while since I updated this blog in general - and especially about my prayer request for my nephew.
In short - Zane's surgery went very well. He ended up having two pins that had to stay in his shoulder for three weeks after the surgery. They have now been removed and he no longer has to wear his sling or keep the bandage over his incisions.
People say it all the time and it's so very true...kids are amazingly resilient and Zane is no different. He has been at my house the past two weekends and can lift his arm up past 90 degrees. He's a champ.
Thank you to anyone and everyone who said a prayer for him during his surgery. He is going to really attract the girls now with that awesome scar!! :)
