I got it!!

So I finally bought myself a nice camera!! It's a Nikon D3100 and I absolutely LOVE IT!! Well worth the money. I haven't been able to play with it much yet, but what I have done is so much fun and I can see why photography is so amazing! Obviously - my best subject is Gavin and that's where the fun comes in! So here we go with some of my first pictures...and MANY more to come!

We went outside for a quick photoshoot. I have recently realized that Gavin does not like the grass. He was too young in the summer/fall to be outside much and especially to crawl. He's been cooped up inside on carpet and tile and that's all he knows. So he refuses to sit/stand in the grass right now. We will definitely work on that because I love being outside! :)  So this picture is with him sitting on my legs!

I know this one is kinda blurry/shadowy - but I love it! He can stand on his own and if we acknowledge it he just laughs and get's so excited. Such a fun stage!!

I was outside taking some pictures and he was standing up in the window seal just a talking. He thought it was really funny that I was on the other side of the screen.
