Gavin turned nine months this past Thursday. We had his well visit and he received his third and last Hep-B shot. He weighed in at 18lbs. 12oz. (20%) and is 29in. tall (75%). We actually had to go in the week before because he had an ear infection and when she checked his ears out they still weren't cleared up. At this point I don't think they ever cleared up and I may have to call in to get another prescription. He keeps tugging on it and I don't know for sure if it's his ears or his teething. But other than that his visit went really good.
I tried to do a little photo shoot this afternoon for some cute pictures...but no such luck. He wasn't quite in the mood for pictures and my camera doesn't take good pictures anyway...so with a moving infant and a bad camera I have no shots to show!! Maybe next time!!
My other news is that Gavin has started to become very attached to me. When we dropped him off at the nursery during church on Sunday he apparently cried the whole time (which is not normal for him at all). He also cried for the first time when I dropped him off at daycare this morning. :( So sad...I'm not used to this and I really hope it's a very short phase!!
Meanwhile, softball is now in full swing! Cody stays busy with afterschool practice everyday until 5:30 (which means he gets home after 6:30) and then has practices on Saturday as well. Their first game is next week and from there they have at least two games a week (both JV and Varsity) or a tournament on the weekend. February will be crazy!! I cannot wait until it starts to warm up so that I can take G outside more and get some fresh air! I'm starting to get stir crazy. But unfortunately it will still be a few months before that can happen.
On the up side...my birthday is this weekend and I'm SO looking forward to a fun and peaceful weekend with Cody. My wonderful mom is keeping Gavin for us so we can have some "us" time. Yay for wonderful mom's and free babysitting!!
Until next time...have a wonderful week!
